This is my uncensored vaginal odor story. The ups, the downs, the stuff  that didn’t work and finally the one thing that did help me eliminate my fishy feminine odor.

The Beginning
About 2 years ago, after I would have my period, I would notice a strong feminine odor down there. Now at first I thought that it was just something that would go away but after a couple of days it was still there! Then after a while it did not only get stronger and it began itching like crazy.

I washed frequently and I always took a shower at least once a day but right after I was done cleaning my vagina the smell was STILL THERE!

My boyfriend began to get really suspicious of me not wanting to have sex and I was just so embarrassed that I did not want him to know. My self confidence was at a all time low and I was paranoid everywhere I went, it seemed like I could actually smell it all the time.

At first I was afraid to go to the doctor, how can you just tell your doctor about something like this?

“hey doc, hows it going? Well I have a fishy odor downstairs, you wanna check it out.”

I mean its so embarrassing but I mustard up the courage and went to my doctor. He confirmed that I had bacterial vanginosis and prescribed me some antibiotics for my vaginal odor.

IT WORKED!!!!!! But only for about a week…

I felt so defeated, and the The smell, itching and now a discharge got worse. My Doctor told me to continue taking antibiotics and it would go away. After about 4 days it came back again!!

At this point I said “THE HELL WITH MY DOCTOR”

So I went online looking for things that would help me get rid of my vaginal odor. There was a lot of junk online but after a day of searching I decided that there was nothing that could help me get rid of this stupid odor!

One day I came across a forum and there was a post about a ebook named:

“Bacterial Vaginosis Relief,” it stated that it could cure my fishy feminine odor (bacterial vanginosis) in 3 days!

There were so many responses to this ebook and everyone on the forum said that it worked for them and on average got rid of there vaginal odor in about a week. So I said oh well I have tried everything else, so I decided to read the book. At first I thought it was another dumb remedy book, but it got interesting fast.

Just want to let you guys know that I will be posting my story on how I got rid of my feminine odor also known as Bacterial vaginosis in about 3 days! WHAT IS BV……….

Its where the normal PH levels(or normal balance of bacteria) in the vagina are disrupted and then replaced by a over growth of bad bacteria. Some of the symptoms include: A discharge (white, gray, or even light green), itching(inside or outside or even both), pain, burning and lets not forget that fishy vaginal odor.

How common is it……

Bv is very common and about 60 percent of women at one time in there life have it. It is common in women aging from 22 to 45.

How do you get it…….

Well I know this is not the answer that you were hoping for but here it is…….

I know, I know you did not want that answer but below are some ways to try to avoid. Here are something’s that can upset you normal balance of bacteria in the vagina:

• Having sex with a new partner
• Having sex with multiple partners
• Douching
• Toilet seats
• Bedding
• None cotton Thongs
• Swimming pools

How do you prevent it …….

Scientists don’t completely understand bacterial vaginosis, therefore its kind of hard to find ways to prevent it, but they have gave out a list of guidlelines we can follow to help prevent BV.( Keep in mind that these tips are kind of harsh)

The following basic prevention steps can help you reduce your risk of upsetting the natural balance of bacteria in you vagina and developing by:

• Be abstinent (I hate this one!)
• Limit the number of sexual partners (this should be easy for most that all I’m going to say)
• Do not douche
• Wear cotton panties

Now if your vagina is does not seem to leak or you don’t have any type of  foaming going on don’t think that you have it safe. These smelly Odors come in many forms and the worst don’t even have any signs but the smell.

They rub back and forth against your anus and your vagina so if you can avoid it on certain days try to!

New partner?
Have a new girlfiend or boyfriend? Well new partner means you are subject to BV. Use condoms because they will reduce the risk of having this happen with a new partner.

Pregnant ?
Anemia can be the number one reason why  a pregnant women can get Bv. So if your pregnant make sure you take your iron pills.

I have found some great ways how to deal with feminine odor, these great tips will help you out by reducing vaginal odor to a more manageable state.

This was not easy at all! There is alot of info online but 90 % of it is just junk so don’t even bother trying any of them, these are the tips that will help you reduce the smell of bad feminine odors:

Feminine Hygiene odor control starts with CLEANING!

This is one of the easiest things that you can do to eliminate vaginal odors but so many of us do not do it the right way. If you take a bath daily (I know we all do right ?) and you have a foul odor down there then you must do more. Follow these cleaning tips:

• Use unscented wipes on a daily basis. Don’t use scented because fishy odors and roses don’t go well together.
• Use unscented soaps. These soaps clean deeper and don’t mess up your vaginal bacteria levels
• Sweating will make your odors even stronger and can lead to more problems if not cleaned

Use a douche to get rid of vaginal odor

This tips is good in some ways and bad in some ways, so pick your poison (I would avoid it personally but it does work)!

Here’s the GOOD:

• Reduce the your vagina smell down alot
• FAST to do
• Cleans out the bad bacteria that cause feminine odors

Here’s the BAD:

• Throw off your PH balance of your vagina
• Cleans out bad bacteria and also good bacteria, so if it cleans out all the good and leaves the bad then that smell will increase. I know, I know this is what you dont want to happen!
• Could Flush unwanted gunk and bacteria into your uterus or fallopian  tube

Avoid fishy feminine odors by not wearing tight clothing

Tammie what?!! This does work so don’t kill the messenger, now this tip may not work if your a wrestler but it will work for the average person. And if you don’t want to give up your tight clothes, well just try to air it out when possible to help with your feminine odor.

Here’s the tips:

• Avoid tight jeans, shorts, panties and any other tight wear
• Wear loose cotton panties
• Don’t wear leather g strings, synthetic material thongs.. These materials do not protect you from bacteria and actually it makes you more moist and makes a breading ground for stinky bacteria.

AVOID THOSE DEODORANTS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is something I can not leave out for your guys because it is so important. These deodorants do nothing but make that stinky vagina smell get stronger. These things help bacteria grow into super bacteria (sound funny right but its true).

This is  a temporary fix ONLY! Don’t get use to using this because it will make your problem a bigger problem, like yeast infections or bladder infections. (There’s nothing more than I hate is a yeast infection)
